What is eXposite
In 2020, with the expansion of the Covid19 pandemic and the consequent containment measures put in place worldwide, the world of culture went into hiatus: neither artists could expose their works to the public nor could musicians give concerts with an audience . The eXposite application arises in response to these limitations. Not only is the digital world barrier-free, it is practically infinite in its creative possibilities and scope. With eXposite, visual artist Sofía Fernández and electronic music producer Die Stadt have been able to bring their work to the mobile devices of a potential audience of millions of people.

About the exhibited artworks
The author of the works exhibited in eXposite is Sofía Fernández Carrera (Fetén Collages). Born in Córdoba in 1978, she studied Technical Engineering at the Higher Polytechnic School of the same city. After several years practicing as such, she felt the need to study an artistic discipline and decided to enter the EEAA of Córdoba and study the cycle of Higher Technician in Plastic Arts and Design in Artistic Photography, a title she obtained in 2015. Thus, she becomes what she calls “Technical Engineer in Art Photography”.
It is precisely that amalgamation so diverse in her academic training that has led her to study and explore the limits of photography. Limits that she manages to blur thanks to the collage technique. We can say that her work has a marked interest in geometries and that in her works she creates universes full of symbology in which nothing is subject to chance, everything has a meaning.
The music in eXposite
The sound and musical setting of a virtual environment is essential for total immersion.
Electronic music producer Die Stadt has composed four pieces of music expressly for eXposite. These are highly complex soundscapes in which textures and timbres take center stage. Through the superposition of layers, an enveloping sound tapestry is created on which to project images, memories, ideas, dreams…
